If you've never been on a walking holiday before, you might be wondering what to expect. Read on below to find out more. Come walk with us!
Many people tell us that they love how easy it is. All of our European and worldwide holidays include flights, local transfers, some meals, and a trained and qualified tour leader. There’s none of the hassle of planning everything or working out where to go next. And you’ll never get lost!
Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable occasions, at which people often discuss the day’s events and tomorrow’s schedule. (On holidays where not all meals are included, we won’t leave you to fend for yourself.) So people tend to gel quickly and soon become friends.
Exploring the world in a small group is one of the most sociable holiday experiences there is. Our walkers come from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, but all share a passion for exploring new places, walking and the outdoors. Usually, about half of those in the group are solo travellers. On average, we have around 14 people in one group.
Our groups can walk away from the crowds and safely visit areas in which might you not feel comfortable on your own, but would feel too conspicuous in a large group.
Really, though, our description can only ever give you part of the picture. You won’t really know what our walking holidays are like until you try one – so why wait?
