Run, Hide, Tell
Events over the past few years around the world are a reminder of the current terrorism threat to areas frequented by crowds of people, those enjoying events and to newsworthy groups of international visitors enjoying their holiday or leisure break.
Although the risk of actually experiencing a terrorist incident in any given location remains very small, ABTA has been working with the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office to increase awareness to British holidaymakers to provide advice on what to do in the unlikely event that you find yourself being caught up in a developing security situation.
Although everyone wants to go on holiday to relax and enjoy their experiences, it's important to remain vigilant at all times, particularly when exploring a new destination, and to know what to do should the worst happen.
