Fjords of Norway

Odysseys through the land of Fjords.
Overview

The coast and fjords of Norway are made for cruising; there is no more beautiful scenery on earth. In May and early June fruit blossomcovers vast stretches of gently sloping hills with snowcapped mountains towering behind. Our trips continue through the glorious long summer days into September, dropping anchor in Norway’s lovely coastal cities and lingering deep in the fjords. Norway has 15,000 miles of coastline - this is the best way to see it!

All cruises to Norway visit the port of Bergen with its old merchant houses and fish market. Here the cable car up Mount Fløyen opens up great walking possibilities and fabulous views. Cruises to Flåm will include a trip into the mountains on the Flåm railway and a spectacular mountain walk back down past countless waterfalls. From Olden there is a choice between easier and harder walks to glaciers.

We visit charming fjord villages such as Skjolden, and Eidfjord where short walks to waterfalls and through meadows cannot fail to delight. Elsewhere the Art Nouveau city of Alesund, the old wooden buildings of Stavanger, the parks, woods and rivers of Kristiansand and Kristiansund’s spectacular mountain setting provide many more highlights.

Please do check the individual itineraries for your chosen date as the UK departure ports and individual ports of call on each cruise vary!
