Walking Holidays in Argentina

The Magic of Patagonia, one of our walking holidays in Argentina and beyond, offers a full experience of the second-largest country in South America - ranging from the modern metropolis that is Buenos Aires to the breathtaking rolling terrain of Patagonia. Hike the unimaginable vastness of the lesser-explored mountains in the magnificent Torres Del Paine National Park. In the captivating capital, feel the buzz of the city as you wind your way past brightly coloured buildings and market squares.

Spend a few nights exploring the thrilling capital on foot, where the street life is non-stop and an absolute feast for the senses. You’ll be greeted by vibrant purple jacaranda flowers that line each cafe and walkway. Soak up the style of the porteños, Buenos Aires’ locals, who openly express their passion for their city and Latin American heritage. Then, swap your walking boots for dancing shoes as you test out your Tango moves at a traditional evening performance.

Stretch your legs across the astounding Andean landscape in Patagonia. We follow a path in the foothills beneath the rocky Mount Fitz Roy, stopping to take snaps of the incredible surrounding glaciers. Not only can we appreciate these from a distance, but we will walk on the shores of the stunning lakes that have formed from their melting ice, and at times, even spot icebergs on their surface.

Why Book a Walking Holiday to Argentina?

Along with the variety of cuisine available at our comfortable hotels and local restaurants of choice, traditional Argentinian food is impossible to escape. If you’re after a sumptuous steak, parrillas are on the corner of every street serving up almost every cut of beef imaginable, seasoned to perfection and cooked just to your liking. And with fine dining comes the wine, ideal for those looking to indulge on the trip of a lifetime. Whatever your preference, you’ll find exquisite dishes to suit every palate.

As well as our knowledgeable group leader, we will also have a local guide joining us on our adventure, ensuring that we see all the highlights and hidden gems of this amazing destination. Your itinerary will likely change to incorporate any exciting events occurring at the time of your trip, as well as securing the most suitable trails for the weather.
