How to Book
To book online, follow the simple steps below:
- Find the holiday and departure you want to book on this website. You can use the search facility or just browse through the menus and links.
- Click the book button next to your chosen departure
- Follow the instructions on the screen and make your payment
- If your holiday is fully available, your confirmation invoice will be sent straight away.

In most cases we can get you booked onto your holiday straight away, and then all you have to do is look forward to your trip!
You’ll be asked to provide your passport details for holidays involving flights, along with your insurance details if you are not purchasing a policy from us. Do not worry if you have not got these details with you at the time of booking, as you can let us know at any time before the balance is due.
It is no longer necessary to fill out a booking form, but you can book this way if you wish. Blank booking forms are sent out with our brochures, on request, or available via the link below. Please do not send your payment details by email. Please pay online via the website.
Once completed, this form can be faxed, e-mailed or posted to us using the contact details below. Please do not send your payment details by email or on the booking form by email.

On completion of your booking, we will send you a ‘Confirmation of Booking’ invoice along with information about what to expect on your holiday.
When we ask you to complete a Personal Details Form, please ensure that the details you provide agree exactly with those printed in your passport. Please also confirm any medical, disability or other issues relevant to your participation in the holiday of which we need to be aware.
The final payment amount and its due date will be shown on your invoice. If a surcharge subsequently becomes applicable to your holiday, an amended invoice will be sent to you no later than ten weeks prior to departure. As we do not usually issue receipts, please advise us if you require one.
Should there be any significant changes to your holiday from that described, we will advise you either upon booking or as soon as possible thereafter. Please read the Terms & Conditions relevant to your preferred holiday: Ramblers Worldwide Holidays, UK Holidays, Ramblers Cruise & Walk, Adagio.
We have a holiday deposit structure: per person deposits for UK holidays are £75, short haul holidays are £100, long haul holidays are £150 and Cruise & Walk holidays are £200.
With effect from February 2016, we will not be charging any processing fees for payments made using Visa or MasterCard credit cards. You can also make payments to us by debit card or cheque without any processing fees.
Do be aware that itineraries planned for some holidays may be changed on the spot due to unexpected events. The final decision for any changes rests with your leader. Ramblers Worldwide Holidays cannot be held responsible for disruption to planned itineraries arising from weather conditions or situations beyond our control such as earthquakes or political unrest. Every effort will be made to provide alternative activities and to ensure that you have the best holiday possible.
As with all group tour operators, we do require a minimum number of participants to operate each tour. Should this number not be reached (or there is a major change in flight or travel arrangements) we reserve the right to cancel the holiday. All provisional outward departure and homeward return flight or rail times featured are correct at time of writing, but they can change. Please do not finalise any independently booked connecting domestic travel (or other arrangements) before you have checked with us, and certainly not earlier than twelve weeks before your intended date of travel. On occasions, there may be onerous cancellation terms on pre-booked domestic travel and hotels for which we cannot accept responsibility, and you are advised to check on these carefully before finalising arrangements.
If you are over 75 we strongly recommend you have a medical before booking to confirm your fitness level. For insurance and safety reasons we may ask you to sign a declaration of fitness. We generally do not consider our holidays suitable for under 16s, especially the under 13s, although there are exceptions, please call us.
We want to ensure that our holidays are accessible to as many people as possible. We also recognise that the term ‘disability’ covers a broad range of impairments, many of which have no impact on mobility or the ability to participate in our holidays. The nature of our holidays does mean, however, that some will not be accessible to certain disabled people.
We are always happy to discuss any disability-related needs with you and will make all reasonable adjustments to accommodate them if full details are provided in writing at the time of booking. In general, for safety reasons, we ask that all participants are able to cope reasonably with the demands of the holiday arrangements without assistance from our tour leader or other members of the group not travelling with you.
If we feel that we cannot meet your needs, we reserve the right to decline your booking. In addition, if, after booking your holiday, a disability-related additional need becomes evident that we cannot properly accommodate, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. We are happy to work with travel agents. If you are an agent and have a client who would like to book a holiday with us, please note that the below agreement will be put in place in accordance with current UK regulations.
