Ramblers Worldwide Holidays Leaders, Amanda and Alan Williams led a 2 Leader 2 Grade Holiday to the Italian Lakes last September and are planning to lead a similar tour this September 2014. The resorts we visit on this tour are Stresa which is on Lake Maggiore and Bellagio on Lake Como.

The walking grades which are really important to know about are at Grade D with some sightseeing as well and at D+. Our clients can choose each day which walk to do. On the Grade D walks there are climbs up and descents but no one is rushed and everyone has plenty of time to take their photos and admire the views and so does the leader! The D+ walks are longer and more challenging for those who prefer a faster pace. Both groups enjoyed using the ferries and cable car for transport and as you can see from the photos the weather was very kind to us.
