‘A Taste of Andalucía’, London – 12 June, 2012
Held in central London during another June downpour, attendees at our ‘Taste of Andalucía’ event last night were mentally whisked to the more pleasant temperatures and climate of southern Spain.
With 10 different walking holidays to choose from in Andalucía, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays showcased a photo collection of the area, with lynxes, wolves and a medley of wild flowers taking centre stage.
Andalucia Tourism representatives and the Spanish Tourist Office in London were pleased to work in conjunction with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays and their portfolio of holiday offerings to the southern region of Spain and were looking forward to a continued partnership.

Kathy Cook, Joint Managing Director of Ramblers Worldwide Holidays, said the holidays to the region cover a range of destinations and walks: “We have a diverse selection of walking holidays in Spain, specifically within Andalucía, which is a very popular destination.
“We are extremely happy to work with the Andalucia and Spanish Tourist Authorities to showcase what a wonderful area of Spain Andalucia truly is, with so much to offer all holidaymakers, catering for all tastes.”

Around 100 people attended the event and sampled just a small ‘Taste of Andalucía’ and what the region has to offer. This included tapas, flamenco dancing and guitar music and some amusing anecdotes of the holidays on offer.
“It was a very successful evening and we are grateful to the Andalucia Tourism Office for sponsoring the event,” Kathy Cook added.
“I’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended – it was great to chat with so many of our loyal and prospective clients.”
