Hampshire Hikes & Historical Sites
Bring intriguing coastal trails and history alive in South Hampshire
Solo walking holidays not only represent excellent value for money but also give the added security of exploring the world with fellow walkers, which can include informative escorted tours as well as scintillating city breaks.
With the opportunity to go off-the-beaten-track in a small group, these holidays provide a more in-depth experience of visiting destinations that might not usually be possible when travelling alone; under the guidance of your knowledgeable leader.
Exploring the world in a small group is one of the most sociable holiday experiences there is. Couples, groups of friends and single travellers all love our holidays and see them as a chance to make friends, de-stress and relax, among interesting people and in beautiful locations, always under the guidance of our experienced and qualified leaders.
Our walkers come from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, but all share a passion for exploring new places, walking and the outdoors. Usually, about half of those in the group are solo travellers. On average, we have around 14 people in a group.
The accommodation we use on our holidays do charge single supplements, as they are usually small establishments seeking to fill all beds. We are able to offer single rooms on most holidays, for a small supplement, we may also be able to offer you a twin room for sole use, subject to availability.
We are able to offer a small number of holidays without a supplement, but these rooms are limited, so we would encourage you to book early to ensure you don't miss out. We may be able to secure additional single rooms or rooms for sole occupancy on some departures; however, there may be a charge for extra single occupancy rooms. Single supplements can also be avoided on the majority of our holidays if you are willing to share a twin room with a fellow group member of the same sex.
