Ireland has always been a popular calling spot for Fred Olsen cruises and from our ports of call you can see why. Northern and Southern Ireland, two vary different territories have had their differences historically and politically but what they have in common are the same rolling, green hills and lush landscapes all dotted with traditional towns and dramatic coastlines. We make the most of our time getting away from the busy tourist hubs to the lesser walked paths where you will discover Ireland in all its beauty.

Over nine nights of cruising we will discover many aspects of Ireland. From Cobh, where the first settlers made landfall in Ireland to hear tales of the original Ballycotton, now underwater. Heading up the west coast to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara National Park for spectacular rolling valley views. Belfast is the gateway to the world famous Giants Causeway before moving along the North Antrim coast to Dublin giving us as chance to explore the Howth Peninsula. Our final port of call is Killybegs, our least visited port of call,  and a great final walking day to be on the coast heading to the cliffs of Slieve League for distant views of Sligo and the Mayo Mountains.

This great itinerary in combination with your floating hotel with its attentive crew and entertainment is the perfect mixture to make sure you have a great holiday.
