To reach Sidmouth;
Directions form the M5 (12 miles)
Leave the Motorway at junction 30, from the roundabout follow signs for Exmouth/Sidmouth. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) onto the A3052 which is the main route to Sidmouth. Stay on this road and after climbing the steep hill out of Newton Poppleford the right turn to sidmouth is approximately 300 yards after the top of the hill (opposite the Bowd Inn). Follow this road down into Sidmouth. At the first roundabout you reach turn left. Proceed to the next roundabout and turn left again. Then take the 2nd right opposite the Radway Cinema. The hotel is 200 yards down this road just after the bridge.
Direction from the A303
Follow the A303 until it becomes the A30. When you reach Honiton take the exit of the duel carriageway sign posted Sidmouth. Turn left at the end of the slip road and then left again at the roundabout at top of the road by the garage. Turn right at the next roundabout and straight on at the next then follow this road (A375) through Sidbury to Sidford. At the traffic lights turn left then follow the road out of Sidford past the Blue Ball Inn on your left then right at the bottom of the hill signposted for Sidmouth. Follow this road down into Sidmouth and you will spot the hotel sign ahead of you as you bear right into the town then turn left and immediately sharp left again onto the hotel driveway on Milford Road.

Public transport: the nearest mainline railway station to Sidmouth is in Exmouth. Alternatively, take the train to Exeter St Davids. Frequent bus services connect the station to Exeter bus station, then take the 9 or 9A bus to Sidmouth. We advise you to check the bus timetables as services on a Sunday may be limited. If arriving by train from London (Waterloo), we recommend you alight at Honiton and from there, catch the hourly number 9 bus directly to Sidmouth.
