The hotel has a friendly and attentive team of staff and is well located, in the centre of town, and close to its cafes and attractions. It is environmentally friendly too, with solar panels providing hot water. Bedrooms have calming clean designs, with nods to literature and unique poetry quotations displayed on the walls. Hotel Mare

Nazare is located along the silver coast, named for its spectacular silver beaches dotted with singing windmills and traditional fishing villages. Nazare is an authentic fishing village and is one of the most famous in Portugal. It has stunning beaches and is beautifully located in between its crescent-shaped sandy beach on one side and the rocky promontory of Sitio on the other. Delight in the colourful wooden and elegant fishing boats still used today with their typical curved prows drawn up on the sandy beach amongst the drying nets.

The Hotel Mare has been run by the Della Torre family for more than 40 years and retains a family friendly atmosphere. The three star hotel has an outdoor pool and Mediterranean garden with a bar and pizzeria. As well as being by the beach the hotel is well located near the old area of Agropoli. Excellent local cuisine is served in the restaurant, including the great seafood from this region, and this is where we take breakfasts and dinners. The spacious bedrooms are pleasantly appointed with hairdryer, air conditioning, TV and a telephone. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Luna Hotel Turismo

Abrantes is a beautiful city located on the river Tejo and is full of history from Celtic and Roman times. Due to its geographical location, Abrantes was of strategically military importance but also a crucial commercial port on the banks of a major river. We stay in the four star Luna Hotel Turismo, located in the central area of Abrantes where you are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. This recently renovated modern boutique hotel is charming. Its panoramic restaurant uses local ingredients to create local delicacies.
