Our holidays are tailored to cater for a broad range of abilities but the expectation will be that most groups will be beginners on cross-country skis or, if more experienced, prefer a more leisurely holiday. Our Winter Sports Holidays
No previous experience is required for this holiday but you get a good workout on snowshoes! This part of the South Tirol has great routes and unrivalled views.
Austria knows how to do winter - trees heavy with snow, picturesque alpine villages, log fires and glühwein create a magical atmosphere. At just over 1000m, the village of Bach is in a quiet valley in the northern Tirol, with the Lechtal Alps to the south and the Allgäu Alps to the north.
In winter the craggy peaks of the Pyrenees are all the more beautiful for a blanket of snow; join us to explore this winter walker’s paradise. We stay in Font Romeu, a charming French resort with a spectacular mountain setting and stunning mountain views into Spain and Andorra.

High and remote, fringed with perfect alpine peaks rising to well over 3000m, the Engadine has an enviable snow record. With villages in the valley between 1200m and 1800m and skiable areas up to 2000m, great snow is a near certainty.
Situated high on a mountain plateau in the Bernese Oberland, Kandersteg is very much a traditional Swiss village.Kandersteg offers around 35 miles of marked winter walking paths, many of which are on the plateau and lower slopes. We can walk to the Oeschi forest; enchanting with beautiful snow covered trees.
