Walking in Colombia
The undiscovered country - colonial heritage and natural wonders.
OverviewColombia is the up and coming Latin American destination. Straddling the isthmus between the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific, it has unrivalled beaches, mountains, colonial cities and a fraction of the tourists one might find elsewhere.
We fly to Bogotá, the capital, with time for a quick look then south west to San Agustin and its pre hispanic archaeology, north through the mountains and coffee fields enjoying some great walking, views and cultural experiences to Medellin, now an attractive and safe city. Then flying north we reach Cartagena on the caribbean coast.
Our November 2011 departure has a slightly different itinerary. Please ask for details.
