Mont Blanc Hotel Trek

Walking many of the ancient trails that have linked the Swiss and the Italian valleys for centuries, the Tour of the Matterhorn has been described as one of the most beautiful treks in the world. Hiking in the Gran Paradiso
The Gran Paradiso is a fantastic, little known, and as yet quite unspoiled Italian national park. Ibex on the dizzying cols, chamois in the empty valleys and ambling marmots are a common sight. Eagles and lammergeier also frequent these parts and edelweiss and vanilla orchids grow beside the paths.

We have devised a fascinating hutting tour from southern Bavaria through Austria and Switzerland, finishing in northern Italy, crossing five mountain ranges.

St Zyprian in the Dolomites
No previous experience is required for this holiday but you get a good workout on snowshoes! This part of Italy's South Tirol region has great routes and unrivalled views.

Venice - La Serenissima

The landscapes seem to have been plucked from a Renaissance painting and many art works still reside in the buildings for which they were created. Splitting our time between Siena and Florence we enjoy an aesthetic feast.

The Trentino Highlands
Between the high peaks of the Alps to the north and the Po Valley to the south lies some of the most enticing walking to be had on the Italian peninsula. Relatively unknown outside Italy, the alpine foothills of the Altopiano Trentino offer everything you could wish from a walking holiday at this grade.

Walking from Iseo

Our base is the pleasant seaside town of Terracina on the southern coast of Lazio with sandy beaches and a stunning hilltop temple of Jupiter with great coastal and mountain views.  Walks include the Pontine Marshes National Park, an area where the land  has resisted the efforts of the Romans and the Papacy who ruled this area to claim it for agricultural use.
