Highlights of the Cotswold Way National Trail
The Cotswolds; idyllic and quintessential English villages with honey coloured cottages, ridges, valleys, rolling green plains divided by hedgerows, dry-stone walls and country lanes as well as the remarkable limestone scenery of the Cotswold Escarpment.

The West Mendip Way
Here’s a 30 mile trail across Somerset, enjoyed over 3 manageable walking days, linking some of the best scenery, villages and inns of the Mendip Hills. From the cathedral city of Wells to the coast at Weston-super-Mare.

Skipton - the Gateway to the Dales
The picturesque market town of Skipton with its cobbled streets provides our base in the south-west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We stay at the Rendezvous Hotel right on the edge of the Leeds-Liverpool canal and its towpath into town.

The Isles of Scilly
The Scillies have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and half the landscape as Sites of Special Scientific Interest. It’s quite a place. Staying on St Mary’s, the largest inhabited island, we spend our days enjoying the coastal scenery, big skies, archaeological sites, great beaches, heathland, rare flora and wildlife.

Cumberland Way
This walk takes you on a west to east route from coastal Ravenglass to Penrith, with between 9 and 13 miles walked daily and ascents and descents ranging from under 500ft to over 2,000ft.

Cumbria Way
Starting in Ulverston market square, the Cumbria Way heads northwards to the great border city of Carlisle with daily walking distances of about 12 miles and ascents between 500ft and 1700ft a day.

To Innominate Tarn - Highlights of the Wainwright
Alfred Wainwright said 'that from this walk every lake, valley and mountain can be seen'. With average ascents of about 4,000ft per day, this is probably one of the most challenging walking weeks available in Britain.

Hadrian's Wall National Trail - A Roman Frontier
This continuous walk, with two bases, follows the Hadrian's Wall National Trail. With its relatively easy terrain and lack of steep ascents, it should appeal to just about every reasonably fit walker!

Norfolk Rambling
There's no getting away from it, Norfolk is pretty flat; the soaring heights are elsewhere. But this corner of East Anglia does have a great variety of unique scenery to enjoy. From the meanderings of waterways of the Broads wetlands to lovely shoreline walks along the Norfolk Coast Path, there are views from over nature reserves, salt marshes and grazing meadows.

Belton Woods
Here is a hidden English gem; undulating limestone landscapes, canal and riverside paths contouring the Vale of Belvoir. These are crossed by the long distance footpaths of the Viking and Jubilee Ways, woodland tracks, meadow paths, country lanes and open rural walks.

Strolls through Constable Country
Walks through traditional English Landscapes painted by many artists - Constable amongst them. We’ll pass Flatford Mill - the setting for ’The Haywain’, discover the historic villages of Long Melford and medieval Lavenham, and walk in coastal nature reserves from the fishing village of Tollesbury.

Richmond and the Eastern Dales
Walk the limestone hills and lovely valleys of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We're based in the historic market town of Richmond for some cracking walks in tranquil Wensleydale, famous for its cheese, and neighbouring Swaledale, the park’s northernmost valley with its grandeur of high ridges, moors and classic Dales villages.

North of the Cotswolds
Wroxton village is as chocolate box as they come; village green, duck pond and abbey. It's  a great base for some easy walking though gently rolling scenery in a little known corner of England. Our hotel is built around a 17th century thatched manor house, it's full of character and it's got a renowned restaurant providing excellent food!
