The Langtang Trek

Tea House Trek with 8 nights trekking, staying in ’Tea Huts'
Overview

Langtang National Park to the north of Kathmandu is the least known and trekked of the major parks in Nepal. It offers a very different experience from the Annapurna and Everest regions. Our trek starts amongst oak and rhododendron, climbing through hemlock and larch forests (look out for monkeys and the elusive Red Panda) until the scenery opens out into a classic glacial U-shaped valley surrounded by snowy peaks. What a revelation!

We have time to enjoy the scenery and explore the valley staying at Kyangjin Gompa, noted for its cheese making. The walking possibilities are endless and the views in every direction stunning.
