The Atlas Foothills

Harder walking in the dramatic high Atlas Mountains
Overview

Here’s some challenging hiking to Morocco and North Africa’s greatest mountain range. The High Atlas provides exhilarating days out on the Djebel Toubkal Massif, whose impressive peak, Mount Toubkal (4167m) dominates the skyline.

On this harder-grade holiday we stay in the Ourika Valley and undertake longer routes, venture to higher peaks, where the trails are somewhat tougher, and provides an exciting and challenging holiday in this rugged and spectacular mountain area. We’ll also have time to explore the exotic city of Marrakech.
