Sightseeing & Walking Holidays

We believe that sightseeing holidays should not be all about trudging around in groups looking at statues and monuments, or taking a bus around a city listening to a pre-recorded tape about the local points of interest. We believe that the best experiences come from a sightseeing walk in good spirits and good company, with friendly and knowledgeable guides who can make a place come to life for visitors.

Our walking holidays that are classified as ‘Sightseeing Holidays’ have itineraries with special historical or sightseeing interest – everything we find fascinating about a particular location, and more besides, has a home on our itineraries for a good sightseeing walk.

Often in towns or cities, these holidays usually involve lower grade, easier walking and allow free leisure time if you want it to further explore these fascinating locations. Take a look at the selection below to get started on a sightseeing walk.

Travel has always been a passion of mine, ever since my first visit overseas to France on a school trip when I was 11.
