Pioneer HolidaysIf you are looking for a more adventurous holiday, well off the tourist track, but not necessarily high grade walking, a Pioneer holiday may be for you. These holidays are usually longer holidays and often (but not always!) long haul, exploring lesser-known destinations. Local conditions and facilities may be basic; events may require modifications to itineraries at short notice and there may be more travelling, possibly on poor roads - but the experience is well worth it!
Weekend walking became more important than a corporate career in management for Julian, so he quit and qualified as a full time tour leader for Ramblers Worldwide Holidays. He believes that it's the best way to discover and observe the world and meet like minded people.
Julian is now one of our Nordic Walking Instructors and looks forward to showing you his technique in 2013.
