North of the Cotswolds
Strolling amongst the Oxfordshire villages, canals and battlefields north of the Cotswolds. 3 or 5 nights
OverviewWroxton village is as chocolate box as they come, village green, duck pond and abbey. It is also a great centre from which to explore this beautiful but little known area of rural England. Situated between Banbury and Stratford on Avon we have access to some beautiful walking through quintessentially English scenery. We are close to the civil war battle sites of Edge Hill and Cropredy, we would hope to have a look at one during our walks. There is plenty to enjoy in the gentle rolling scenery leading south to the Cotswold escarpment.
