Island Hopping in the Dodecanese

From Rhodes to Kos
Overview

Island hopping in Greece brings with it a real sense of freedom as you set sail from small ports and drift past dramatic coastal scenery to visit dazzling white villages, walk through stunning landscapes and meet welcoming people.

Join us on a journey through the Dodecanese from Rhodes to Kos visiting some of the smaller, less known islands en-route.

The beautifully preserved medieval city of Rhodes Town, the legacy of the crusading Knights of St. John, serves as counterpoint to the picturesque coastal village of Lindos, which has spectacular views over St. Paul’s Harbour.

The horseshoe shaped harbour of Symi is surrounded by sloping hillsides with grand mansions built more than a hundred years ago that have been splendidly refurbished and decorated in the most beautiful fashion. Our days are spent walking and exploring the island famed for the beautifully sited monastery of Panormitis.

Tilos, one of the least frequented of the Greek isles, offers wonderful walks and beautiful seascapes. Nisyros is a small mountainous island with dormant volcanic craters that still exudes sulphurous fumes today. We stroll amongst the hills from our base at the port of Mandraki.

Leaving Nisyros we travel to Kos where we explore the town’s ancient remains, before flying home.
