In Patagonia
Travelling to the end of the world. Argentina and Chile.
OverviewPatagonia has inspired western travellers from the time they became aware of the vast tracts of wilderness to the south of the Spanish possessions. It is a land of unimaginable vastness, strikingly beautiful in places, barren and inhospitable in others. We explore on both the Argentine and Chilean sides.
We start in Buenos Aires then fly south to explore the fine walking in the Fitzroy Park and the glaciers at Perito Moreno, one of the world’s natural wonders, before crossing the Andean watershed west into Chile.
In the famed Torres del Paine National Park, a showpiece of outstanding grandeur - a world biosphere reserve with a wealth of wildlife amidst superbly impressive mountain scenery, we should see guanaco and condors.

Ramblers Worldwide holidays are never just a tour. Whatever the grade, you can expect to walk, even if only for limite...

Hello – I am Misty the Westie and I work for Ramblers Countrywide Holidays in the Leader’s Department. It’s my job to sniff out new hotels and walks and report back to HQ. It’s a dog’s life, I know, but someone’s got to do it! ![]()
