Iberia

The Iberian Peninsula
Overview

Sail south into the colourful sights and atmosphere of Iberia. The journey starts with two days at sea to relax, read, attend lectures and to get to know your fellow travellers - rare treats these days!

Highlights include the Port wine city of Oporto at the mouth of the Douro Valley to discover the narrow streets, harbour and hopefully a port bodega, a fascinating walking tour of Lisbon with a local guide.

Vigo is Spain’s main fishing port - you may see the local women selling oysters on the streets. Our time here will be spent exploring the cobbled streets near to the principal Rua Real. From Ferrol we will walk along the Atlantic coast.

This holidays is graded D SS and provide a good mix of active sightseeing and walking.
