We believe that some of the best walking holidays are ones that take you away from your usual routes and routines, and into a different world altogether. If you can hear the call of the wild, then an alpine mountain hutting holiday will let you do things and go places far beyond the humdrum of everyday life.Wake up above the clouds, climb peaks above 3000m and have lunch overlooking chamois and ibex – with a combination of exhilarating walks and quality alpine accommodation, we’re proud of our hutting itineraries. Our small groups of up to 12 people, including the leader, help us build a strong sense of camaraderie and friendship on our hutting holidays.

Our route wends its way through several mountain ranges, including the Wilder Kaiser, Zahmer Kaiser, Kitzbühler Alpen including the famous Hahnenkamm (of Franz Klammer fame), Leoganger Steinberge and Steinernes Meer. It culminates beneath the mighty Watzmann range, with many options for extra peaks, energy levels and time permitting.

Hiking in the Gran Paradiso
The Gran Paradiso is a fantastic, little known, and as yet quite unspoiled Italian national park. Ibex on the dizzying cols, chamois in the empty valleys and ambling marmots are a common sight. Eagles and lammergeier also frequent these parts and edelweiss and vanilla orchids grow beside the paths.
