Exploring Poland
A fascinating insight into the best of Polish walking and culture.
OverviewPoland is a fascinating place, changed hugely from the grey country that emerged from behind the iron curtain 20 years ago. The mountains remain as beautiful and unspoilt but the cities are prosperous and welcoming, the food has improved beyond recognition and English is widely spoken. It makes for a country full of scenic and cultural rewards, easy to travel through and where you will be welcomed by all.
We take in Warsaw, the capital, Krakow one of the finest cities in Europe, Zakopane at the foot of the Tatra Mountains and Czestochowa one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Europe.
