Ceredigion & the Pembrokeshire Coast
Classic walking on and inland from the spectacular and remote mid-Wales Coast.
OverviewFormerly, and for English speakers, more familiarly known as the Cardigan Coast, Ceredigion is a beautiful and little visited area.
We are right at the beginning of the newly inaugurated Ceredigion Coastal Path, across the bay from the northern boundary of the Pembroke Coast National Park; we can enjoy the same magical coast views, spot seals, dolphin and porpoises but with less of the crowds.
The Cliff Hotel looks over one of the UK's great unspoiled beauty spots and gives easy access to both the Ceredigion and the more famous Pembrokeshire coastal paths. Walking south in the Teifi estuary on the path takes us through the pleasant town of Cardigan and across St Dogmaels beach. North takes us out on the Irish Sea coast for very different vistas. Inland we can walk in the Preseli Mountains and the Teifi valley for some great contrasts in this hugely diverse area.
