A walking holiday in Florence & Rome

Art, history, culture and countryside
Overview

A chance to take in two of the world’s finest cities in one holiday with stays in Florence and Rome for us to take an in-depth look at Italian culture. The Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s Statue of David with a few great country walks thrown in, what more could you ask of a holiday?

Rome - a perfect city in which to enjoy the pleasures of travel. No other city has so much art still in the places for which it was produced - family chapels by Bernini, altar paintings by Caravaggio, early Christian Mosaics, interior decoration by Raphael.

Florence is equally stunning. This small and immensely attractive city is a beautiful treasury of art and its setting is no less beautiful. Florence is surrounded by hills and we’ll enjoy two of the best viewpoints of the city at the Piazzale Michelangelo and Fiesole as well as some strolling in the Tuscan countryside.
