Classic Greek Journey

A journey into the city-states of ancient Greece where history and mythology merge.
Overview

This holiday leads us on a journey through ancient Greek history and mythology to classical sites and museums with spectacular collections, coupled with easy countryside and coastal walking.

We begin in Delphi, before heading across the Gulf of Corinth and via Olympia and the mountains of the Peloponnese to Sparta and medieval Mistra. From the coastal town of Nauplia, we’ll make a visit to Tiryns and Argos before travelling to Athens where we’ll discover the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon and, if time allows, visit the Archaeological Museum.

Please note: One of our countryside walks is a D grade while all others are a SS/E.
