Special Interest Holidays

Many of our tours have a special interest theme that really gets the most out of that particular destination.   You can identify these holidays by the relevant symbols within the holiday descriptions - their itineraries have been developed to include an exciting programme of activities around your chosen activity. All are full of interest without being too ‘intense’, and we make sure the walking and special interest parts of your holiday are perfectly balanced.

What can I do?

Special interest walking holidays

Enjoy a walking and sightseeing holiday in a destination with historical or architectural significance; follow a walking itinerary that takes in the flowers of that region 'up close'; take to the streets for some city walking or get creative in the kitchen on a walking and cooking holiday.

Great Journeys

Our Great Journeys are walking holidays that are longer in duration, taking you across a wider region (often more than one country). They are generally lower grade, easier walking, staying in comfortable accommodation. And for 2008, we include Korea in our worldwide walking holidays programme for the very first time!
