All it took was the first holiday with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays last year and I was hooked. The walking grade suited my ability, the cost met my budget, the people in my group were warm and friendly, and the experience was unforgettable. This year’s Mediterranean Masterpiece was no exception.
People often ask me what I liked the most about my tour and actually, I also thought about it; why I travelled, by myself, all the way from Arizona to Collioure and last year to the Italian Lakes. I could have traveled somewhere in US and would have had a nice holiday; but I would have missed the unique European architecture, relaxing at the outdoor cafes and sipping teas with my new tour-mates, shopping at the small markets to pick up my fresh sandwich, learning about the varieties of the wild flowers along the trails and the whole culinary experience of sea food, deserts, and wines. With a holiday like this, I find myself totally detached from work and truly getting absorbed into a walker’s paradise. It was truly a wonderful trip. I look forward to my next holiday.
