Our Grand Tour explores five of Australia's vast and contrasting states, its breathtaking landscapes and climates each unique and different from the last.

Starting in Melbourne, Australia's cultural capital, we'll explore on foot or by tram, or forget we are in the city at all and visit the beautiful botanical gardens. Leaving the metropolis we'll venture into the countryside, spot Koalas and encounter the stunning Great Ocean Road with breathtaking coastal views of the wild seas of the shipwrecked coast. From our base at Apollo Bay we trek to stunning highlights of the great ocean walk finishing at Glenample, home of eight remaining of the once twelve Apostles.

Adelaide next to enjoy the endless miles of picturesque vineyards of the Barossa Valley, visiting fascinating Kangaroo Island with our local guide and experiencing the huge diversity of natural bush life and spectacular birdlife; we'll also stroll through a wild seal colony.

Arriving at the desert in Alice Springs, we travel by 4x4 along the Western MacDonnell ranges to Glen Helen where we follow the famous Larapinta trail on foot. Then on to Kings Canyon, the otherworldly hidden jewel of Australia's red centre, bringing us to the iconic Uluru - Ayers Rock. Our journey continues to Darwin, to explore Kakadu National Park by way of a yellow water cruise.

From the hot, dry desert to Cape Tribulation's moist green and lush rainforest for a night walk in search of nocturnal animals. Taking to the water we can snorkel or dive at the remote and undisturbed coast of the Great Barrier Reef.

We touch down at another icon of Australia, Sydney, with its neon city lights, glorious opera house and stunning harbour views. Stepping outside the city we discover the remarkable beauty of the Blue Mountains, a natural wilderness of untamed bush, spectacular rock formations and wildlife. Amidst the mountains we can reflect on this world class tour, feeling content in the knowledge that we have truly seen and conquered Australia.
